ThursdayÕs story, ÒSpeaker to discuss Indian War,Ó should have stated the lecture was to celebrate the 150 years since the first war for Indian independence. India won independence from Britain on Aug. 15, 1947.

ThursdayÕs story, ÒOffice says buying permits online more convenient,Ó should have said that only students can order parking permits online. Also, it should have said that the office will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 20 to Sept. 7. Lastly, it should have said that permits have been mailed since 1992, through telephone registration at that time.

The July 10 story, ÒDisplay suggestions report submitted,Ó should have said the report was sent to President James Spaniolo on June 1.

June 19th 2007
TuesdayÕs column ÒTug of WarÓ should have said Democrats have majorities in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

June 12th 2007
ThursdayÕs story ÒStudents ask about TB testÓ should have said the Bacille Calmette-GuŽrin (BCG) vaccine, which most international students receive in their native countries for tuberculosis, can sometimes register as a false-positive on skin tests conducted in America.

May 31, 2007
TuesdayÕs calendar item, ÒWesley Foundation Event,Ó should have stated the time as noon. The sub-headline to the May 3 story, ÒExtra funds allow for more MAC additions,Ó incorrectly stated that there would be a rock-climbing wall and a golf simulator at the new Maverick Activities Center. The story correctly said that the additional features are still only possibilities.
