TuesdayÕs story ÒUniversity Center Panda Express opensÓ should have stated that the restaurant will be open 10:45 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Thursday. The restaurantÕs hours of operation were incorrect in the story.

TuesdayÕs sports story ÒUTA stuffs Sugar BearsÓ should have stated that Dee Jay Nelson, Lady Mavericks softball team first baseman, broke the teamÕs home-run record. The record-breaker was incorrect in the storyÕs headline.

WednesdayÕs story ÒMovinÕ the Party InsideÓ should have stated that Jenna Stephens said, ÒI was worried earlier when they moved the event inside that things might have to change that could affect the way it turned out. It looks to me like even if anything did have to change, it didnÕt negatively impact the turn out of things. IÕm having fun, and I was in definite need of a break such as this.Ó The quote was misattributed in the story.

WednesdayÕs story ÒA Change of PaceÓ should have stated that Alex del Carmen is the Criminology and Criminal Justice Department chair. Dr. del CarmenÕs title was incorrect in the story.

ThursdayÕs story ÒError backlash continuesÓ should have stated that Chase ErwinÕs situation is unrelated to the $500,000 undercharge error affecting nursing, business and engineering students and that this error was not caused by the MyMav system. The cause of ErwinÕs debt to the university and the source of the recent undercharge error were incorrect in the headline and story.

WednesdayÕs editorial, ÒTeaching in Active Voice,Ó should have stated that the university would not receive reaffirmation of accreditation until December. The universityÕs accreditation status was misidentified in the editorial.

WednesdayÕs story ÒClub investigates allegations,Ó should have identified Katherine Miller as the Maverick Football Club chief executive officer and should have stated that she has not filed any binding allegations. MillerÕs status was misidentified in the story.

WednesdayÕs story ÒPhase one of MAC construction should be complete by September,Ó should have stated that about 200,000 square feet of space will be added. The amount of added space was incorrect in the story.

The photo caption on ThursdayÕs story ÒSuch A DragÓ should have stated that Ben Yang is a biology junior. YangÕs major was misidentified in the caption.

ThursdayÕs story ÒPerryÕs plan may cut itemsÓ should have stated that State Rep. Diane Patrick, R-Arlington, called the concerns about funding for the university top priority. PatrickÕs first name was misspelled in the story.

TuesdayÕs front page teaser ÒSuper IeroÓ should have stated that Frank Iero is the guitarist for the band My Chemical Romance. IeroÕs position in the band was misidentified in TuesdayÕs paper. The picture in the teaser was of the bandÕs lead singer Gerard Way.

TuesdayÕs story ÒPolice survey shows safety concernsÓ should have stated that the UTA Police DepartmentÕs survey began in November. The month was incorrect in the story.

The Feb. 2 story ÒOrientation begins Rush eventsÓ should have stated that political science senior Kendria Sims is an Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority member. Her organization was misidentified in the story.

The Jan. 24 story ÒNew restrictions placed on club teamÓ should have stated that the football club teamÕs requirements do not include EMT units.

WednesdayÕs paper should have attributed the Quoteworthy quote to university alumnus Eddie Griffin. The quote was misattributed on WednesdayÕs Page 2.

February 7th, 2007
Tuesday’s story, “Nationwide jobs open,” should have attributed Sergio Small in the final quote. The name was misspelled in the story.
January 30th, 2007
Friday’s story “Comedian Christian Finnegan will perform” should have stated that general public tickets for Christian Finnegan’s performance will be $18. The general public ticket prices were incorrect in the story.
January 19th, 2007
Tuesday’s story “Changed in a Heartbeat” should have stated LaQuita Taylor “would take this experience back in a heartbeat if she could.” Taylor’s opinion on the subject was misidentified in the story.

Wednesday’s story “Red Light District” should have stated that the red light cameras will be installed at 40 intersections. The number was misstated in the story.
