you in the know.
Just So You Know…
Some kinds of binging are OK.
When semesters near their ends, all the little things can get you down. Graduation
looms for many, while increased workloads in classes might not be mixing well
with those who have jobs.
Bottom line — It’s getting harder to make the daily grind.
So whenever you’ve reached your wits’ end and your friends are levitating
on your nerves, Split Ends recommends you pick a song, movie, TV show or something
of little importance and fixate on that for a moment. We’ve set our laser
beams on Beyoncé’s new video anthology album. With a video for just
about every song on her album B’Day, B is proving herself to be a bad mamma
jamma.
Yes, we said mamma jamma. Go watch “Get Me Bodied,” and get back at
us.
With flaws and all,

Suds Update
Split Ends gave you the heads up months ago about the impending end of
NBC’s “Passions.” Now you have about five months left to watch
the love between Ethan and Theresa ebb and flow, and the latest twist involving
Chad’s gay affair on his wife Whitney, who was once believed to be his sister.
Also, SOAP Net began airing modern-day staples “One Tree Hill” and
“The O.C.” last night. Catch them weeknights back-to-back starting
at 4 p.m.
Local Casting Calls
This Saturday, several network casting directors will be in the area
looking for fresh lives to ruin on national television. CBS stops by Grapevine
Mills looking for Texans to fill up the “Big Brother” house this summer,
while NBC hopes to find people with the rare talent to pick special suitcases
on “Deal or No Deal” at Bankston Dodge in Grand Prairie. But if you
think you can be the CW’s “America’s Next Top Model,”
you’ll have to fix yourself up and shuffle down to the W Hotel in Dallas.
For more information, visit each network’s respective Web site.
