Career event sponsored by Lockheed Martin held today

The Engineering Student Council will host “I’m Hired, Now What?” at noon today in 100 Nedderman Hall.

The event, sponsored by engineering company Lockheed Martin, is geared toward educating students on how to get a job and what to do once they are hired, council president Jodi Townsley said.

Patricia Schindler, college relations representative for Lockheed Martin, will speak on the transition from student life to corporate life and will include tips on how to fill out tax forms and plan savings accounts.

The session applies not only to corporate jobs but internships and co-ops as well, Townsley said.

The event includes free pizza and door prizes.
