Police Report
This is a part of the daily activity
log produced by the university’s Police
Department.
A hit-and-run accident was reported in the metered parking by the
Business Building on Monday at 700 S. Oak St. An offense report
was filed.
A person reported that his wallet and keys were stolen from the
Activities Building on Monday at 601 W. Nedderman Drive. An offense
report was filed, and the case is being investigated.
A person reported that a plate and grape juice were taken from a
secured storage room Wednesday at 600 S. Pecan St. An offense report
was filed.
A person reported that her debit card, cash and three textbooks
were stolen from the Activities Building on Monday at 601 W. Nedderman
Drive. An offense report was filed, and the case is being investigated.
A person reported that a known male refused to leave the residence
when asked Monday at 400 S. Oak St. An incident report was filed.
A person reported unauthorized charges to a UTA procurement card
Tuesday at 503 W. Third St. An offense report was filed, and the
case is being investigated.
A departmental laptop was reported stolen from the Engineering Lab
on Tuesday at 501 W. First St. An offense report was filed, and
the case is being investigated.
A person stated someone hit his vehicle at the metered parking lot
Tuesday at 400 Yates St. An offense report was filed, and the case
is being investigated.
An officer initiated a traffic stop and an investigation was conducted
for stereo itEmergency Medical Services Wednesday at 1000 W. Fourth
St. An offense report was filed, and the case is being investigated.
A criminal trespass warning was issued to two nonstudents Wednesday
at 1000 W. Fourth St. An incident report was filed.
A minor accident occurred in a parking lot Wednesday at 600 S. Center
St. No injuries were reported. Blue forms were issued and an incident
report was filed.
An officer took a report of a hit and run in lot 49 Wednesday at
1101 S. Cooper St. An offense report was filed.
A report of an alarm trip was made at a sorority house Wednesday
at 1109 Greek Row Drive. No entry and no intruders were found. An
incident report was filed.
A student reported theft of wallet and credit card abuse Wednesday
at 600 S. Pecan St. An offense report was filed, and the case is
being investigated.
A person injured her ankle while exercising Wednesday at 400 Yates
St. Emergency Medical Services responded and the person refused
transport. An incident report was filed.
A person reported a laptop stolen from the Central Library Wednesday
at 702 S. College St. An offense report was filed, and the case
is being investigated.
A report of provocative language was made Wednesday at 500 W. Nedderman
Drive. The language was used by a former student toward a graduate
teaching assistant. An incident report was filed.
A person stated her purse was stolen from the Activities Building
on Wednesday at 500 W. Nedderman Drive. An offense report was filed,
and the case is being investigated.
A person stated her vehicle was missing from lot 46 Wednesday at
140 W. Mitchell St. An offense report was filed, and the case is
being investigated.
A person was intoxicated to the point she was not in control of
her normal functions Thursday at 800 Greek Row Drive. Emergency
Medical Services responded and the person was transported to Arlington
Memorial Hospital. An incident report was filed.
An officer requested Emergency Medical Services assistance for a
possibly intoxicated student Thursday at 800 Greek Row Drive. Emergency
Medical Services found her to be in stable condition. An incident
report was filed.
Information regarding students from Houston en route to the University
Center due to the hurricane was reported Thursday at 700 S. Davis
St. An incident report was filed.
