We need a president who knows his history

I am a 37-year-old, and I care more about what happens to America than the president.

President Bush says he does not know American history. Namely, he says “I’ve been to a lot of summits. I’ve never seen a meeting that would depose a tyrant, or bring a terrorist to justice.” There are many photos of Franklin Delano Roosevelt at summits to dispose of Hitler. I think we need to send this man back home for the next four years to learn the real history of World War II, which his father fought in. He might learn how to do the job right instead of killing vets.

In the first debate, President Bush stated, “First, listen, of course I know Osama bin Laden attacked us. I know that.” I ask: Why is Osama bin Laden still free? Is it because of an incompetent leader of the Western world? Or is it bin Laden showing off his ability to wait until the cows come home?

Either way, it is time for a change — a change for the better.
