What
do you think?
With the last debate over, we
ask students to reflect on Sen. Kerry, President Bush and how they’ll
cast their vote
“Bush has some good points about
homeland security. Kerry is indecisive but can make the right decision.
Bush makes rapid decisions that can be wrong.”
Laura Chapman
modern languages junior
“The debate drastically changed who I am leaning towards.
I was for Bush originally, but I think Kerry has a more sound approach
to the nations security.”
Shakera Crawley
broadcast news junior
“My perspective about Bush has stayed
the same. The Republicans don’t go far enough to the right,
they are too moderate. I am voting for Bush but he is definitely
with faults.”
Brett Cervan
history senior
“There are issues on both sides that
I agree with. I feel clear about the candidates positions on Iraq
and the economy, the issues I most care about.”
Grady Hill
political science senior
“Bush and Cheney are crooks, I know
they are. I don’t agree with the war in Iraq. Kerry has been
on defense, not offense. I like how Ralph Nader has handled himself.”
Nichole Conwill
sociology senior
“Candidates can’t lie through
body movement. I felt like Kerry made a greater connection to the
voters. He commends Bush on what he has done, it’s not all
just slander.”
Deserai McGlothin
communications technology senior
“What I’ve known is that Democrats
support minorities more. I need to know how the economy will be
when I graduate. For that I’m leaning toward Kerry.”
Josh Hamilton
business finance senior
“It’s hard to take a side.
I need to know that my degree will mean something when I graduate.
This is a very important issue to me in the election.”
