Police Report
Organizations posted signs found
with ethnic slurs

A student posted signs on several doors in
Arlington Hall in reference to a Jewish student organization over
the weekend. She reported Monday afternoon that someone wrote ethnic
slurs on the signs. Reports state the signs were not approved by Student
Governance. Police said they have no leads.
A Social Work staff member reported Monday morning finding a disk
in her computer that did not belong to her Monday morning. She told
campus police she suspected someone used her computer over the weekend.
No items were found missing and no damage was done to the computer.
Campus police issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia
at Centennial Court apartments Monday afternoon. Reports state police
received a complaint from neighbors, who said they could smell marijuana
coming from the apartment. Officers searched the apartment and found
residue in a bong. Four visitors received criminal trespass warnings,
and police issued disciplinary referrals to be handled by the dean
of students to all five who were there.
Arlington Hall residents reported Monday evening that they smelled
smoke coming from a room. Reports stated that officers also could
smell smoke in the room. The student told police he smoked a cigar.
He was issued a disciplinary referral.
