Police Report
Student’s classes dropped without authorization
This is a part of the daily activity log produced by the university’s Police Department. To report a criminal incident on campus, call 817-272-3381

A student reported to campus police Tuesday evening that his spring semester classes had been deleted. Four out of five of his courses were dropped on Jan. 16, and a refund check was sent to his residence. The student told officers he discovered the dropped courses when he was discussing a class with his professor, who said he was not listed. Police said if they can determine the classes were dropped intentionally, a fine for tampering with records could be issued.

A professor reported a minor assault to campus police Tuesday morning. Reports state a female student was confronted by her ex-boyfriend in the Fine Arts Building. The professor told the subject to leave.

A student accelerated too quickly when pulling out of a parking space Wednesday morning in Lot 26 on West Mitchell Street. The rapid departure threw gravel onto another vehicle. The offense is considered reckless damage.

A campus police officer responded to a disturbance call in the parking garage Wednesday afternoon. As officers ran checks on two students in their vehicles, they discovered the passenger had outstanding warrants. The passenger was taken to Arlington City Jail.
