Police Report
Vehicle burglarized at Centennial
Court on Friday

Campus police investigated a burglary of
a motor vehicle Friday morning at Centennial Court apartments. Reports
state the complainant told police her clarinet, compact disc case
and wallet were taken. Officers said they found no signs of forced
entry. The theft is considered a Class A misdemeanor, carrying a
fine of up to $4,000 or one year in jail.
Campus police issued a citation for the consumption of alcohol by
a minor late Friday evening at Centennial Court apartments. Reports
state an officer on patrol observed several parties and saw the
subject walking around with a bottle of beer. Identification showed
the subject was 19 years old.
Campus police investigated an incident of criminal mischief Friday
morning at the Clay Gould Ballpark. Reports state that four fire
extinguishers were discharged in a ticket booth and the mens
restroom. The incident occurred between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m.
Saturday. Police said the incident is considered a Class B misdemeanor
carrying a fine of $2,000 or 180 days in jail.
Campus police investigated an incident involving a threat Sunday
morning in lot 56 on West Third Street. Reports state the complainant
told police that a vehicle drove by and a person in the passenger-side
seat pointed a gun at him. The subject stated he was walking to
Lipscomb Hall from 7-Eleven when a green car drove by with four
passengers. Police said there is doubt as to whether the gun was
real.
University Center personnel reported graffiti found on the inside
of an elevator Sunday afternoon. Reports state the incident occurred
sometime between 5 p.m. Thursday and 8 p.m. Saturday when someone
wrote a few words with a magic marker, and the incident was reported
for documentation purposes.
Campus police issued a criminal trespass warning Sunday evening
at 7-Eleven on South Center Street. Reports state the subject was
loitering inside the store for over an hour making statements that
someone was trying to kill him, such as the CIA, the FBI and the
Dallas Mafia.
Campus police aided an injured person late Sunday evening at Brazos
Hall. Reports state the complainant told police he was feeling light-headed
and was having difficulty breathing. The subject was transported
by ambulance to Arlington Memorial Hospital.
